One time, while having wisdom teeth extracted, I woke up afterwards and was so drugged up I leaned forward and the bloody cotton wads fell out of my mouth. My brain then told me "Um, your tongue just fell out of your head". I totally panicked and thought my tongue had fallen out of my head. I tried to tell the nurse what was going on (without using my tongue) and she laughed herself silly. Are they allowed to do this?
